Day 1: Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Pitsanulok (L)
Pick up from the hotel, travel by an air-cond. van to visit Bang Pa In Palace, the Royal Summer Palace, and Ayutthaya Historical Park. After lunch, continue to Pitsanuloke. Visit Wat Phra Si Ratana Maha That, where Phra Buddha Chinnaraj is housed. This is the most beautiful Buddha statue of Thailand.

Day 2: Pitsanulok - Sukhothai - Si Satchanalai - Lampang (B, L)
Breakfast. Travel to Sukothai (1 hr. drive) and visit Sukhothai Historical Park & Si Satchanalai Historical Park. Then continue the trip to Lampang on the scenic route with visit to the amazing Wat Phra That Chom Ping and the magnificent Wat Phra That Lampang Luang. Check-in at Lampang Wiengthong Hotel. Then city tour by horse-drawn carriage for about one hour in the evening.

Day 3: Lampang - Phayao - Chiang Rai - Mae Sai (B, L)
Breakfast. Travel to Phayao (131 kms.), visit to Kwan Phayao and Wat Sri Komcome, the oldest temple in Payao. Continue the trip to Chiang Rai (94 kms.). Lunch then travel further to Chiang Saen, the ancient first Northern Thai capital, then proceed to the Golden Triangle where Myanmar, Laos and Thailand meet. Boat trip on Mekong River for about 45 minutes for sightseeing Myanmar and Laos. And alos visit Ban Sai Khao, a village of Laos located on the bank of Mekong River. After the river cruise, travel to Mae Sai, the trading town at the Myanmar - Thai border. Here is a lively town where hilltribes from Myanmar coming to sell their handicrafts. After that travel into the town of Chiang Rai. After dinner evening walk at the lively Night Bazaar of Chiang Rai, where many hilltribes sell their products.

Day 4: Chiang Rai - Doi Mae Salong - Chiang Mai (B, L, D)
Breakfast. Proceed to Doi Mae Salong with visit to Hilltribes - Yao Village, Lisu Village & Akha Village and "Jin Hor" (Chinese migrated from Yunnan). Continue the trip to Tha Ton, Fang, and Chiang Dao Buddhist Caves where stalactites and stalagmites are beautiful. Late afternoon, arrive Chiang Mai. Check-in at Chiang Mai Gate Hotel or Holiday Garden Hotel. Kantoke Dinner (the traditional welcome dinner in northen style)

Day 5: Chiang Mai - Elephant Riding - Rafting - Chiang Mai (B, L)
Breakfast. Proceed to Mae Taeng Elephant Camp for elephant riding into the beautiful valley of Mae Taeng (1hr.), and ox-carting to visit a Northern village, Mae Taman Village(1/2 hrs.) Buffet lunch at the Elephant Nature Park. Bamboo rafting and return to Chiang Mai. At leisure. After dinner visit the Night Bazaar where you can try your hand at bargaining.

Day 6: Chiang Mai- Doi Suthep - Bangkok (B, L)
Breakfast. Proceed to visit the Hilltribes Museum and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep on Suthep Hill. This is the most revered temple in Chiang Mai. After lunch, transfer to Chiang Mai Airport. Take the domestic flight TG111 return to Bangkok.
