Day 01: Yangon Arrival Arrive Yangon international airport, welcome by tour guide. Transfer to the hotel for check in. Visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda, famous worldwide – its golden stupa is the ‘ Heart ’ of Buddhism Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2, 500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. And overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon Putao Morning fly to Putao from Yangon. Arrive at Putao – north of Myitkyina in Kachin State and not far from the Hkakabo Razi, the highest mountain in South East Asia and transfer to Guest House. Hill tribe people who come to sell goods at the market can be found. Overnight at guest house in Putao.
Day 03: Putao Machanbaw Putao After Breakfast, drive to Ma Chan Baw Village, 28 km to the east. Arrive the Malika River and walk through the Malikha suspension bridge. Enjoy the Kachin traditional costume at Gu Bar Yeik Thar. Drive back to Putao and have a lunch. Excursion to Mulashidee suspension bridge. Drive back to Guest House. Overnight in Putao.
Day 04: Putao Myitkyina After Breakfast, visit to Mahamuni Pagoda and the monastery. Transfer to the airport for flight to Myitkyina. Arrive at Myitkyina - the capital of Kachin State, is situated in the north of Myanmar. There, the green and lush forests and snow capped mountains are highly attractive. It is the northern most railway terminal, 919 miles from Yangon and 487 miles from Mandalay. Overnight in Myitkyina.
Day 05: Myitkyina Indawgyi Lake Breakfast at hotel and drive to Indawgyi lake – the largest natural lake in Myanmar. It has an annual year round raining season with an average 1440 mm rainfall. In summer, average temperature is 27.9 C and in the cold season 17.2 C. Boat trip to Shwe Myinzu Pagoda, in the middle of the lake and observe the amazing natural beauties of its surrounding area. Overnight at the village.
Day 06: Indawgyi Lake Myitkyina After breakfast, drive back to Myitkyina and transfer to Hotel. Visit the place where the Ayeyarwaddy river orginates. Myitsone, the confluence of Meikha and Malikha streams which forms the Ayeyarwaddy, is a must visit attraction. Drive back to Myitkyina and overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Myitkyina - Mandalay After breakfast, transfer to the Myitkyina airport for flight to Mandalay. Arrive Tada U Airport, direct excursion to Sagaing and visit Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda which is the copy of Mahaceti Pagoda in Siri Lanka and Sagaing Hill - the center of Meditation. Then proceed to Amarapura and enjoy sunset from the U Bein Wooden Bridge (1.2km long) across Taung Tha Man Lake. You can enjoy boat trip on the lake. Return to Mandalay and overnight.
Day 08: Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay (B) After early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the jetty to take a boat trip to Mingun. Visit Mingun Unfinished Pagoda, Mingun Bell, one of the world largest hanging bronze bells and Myatheindan Pagoda. After sightseeing in Mingun, sail back to Mandalay. Afternoon visit Mahamuni Buddha Image, Zegyo Market and some of Mandalay’s cottage industries, such as weaving and tapestry making, Burmese candy making, Bamboo fan making near Eindaw Yar Pagoda, Atumahsi Monastery and Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw (Maha Lawkamarazein Pagoda) which is famous as the world largest book of many stone slabs on which is inscribed the whole Buddhist Literature.. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill. Overnight stay at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 09: Mandalay - Bagan In the early morning, transfer to airport and leave for Bagan, visit Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupa and Kyansittha U Min, a tunnel with an interesting feature of paintings. Soemingyi Okkyaung, Nagoyone Temple, Apeyadana Temple and Wetkyiin Gubaukki Temple. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Andanda Temple, the architecture masterpiece, Thatbyinnyu Temple, the tallest in Bagan and Gawdawpalin Temple, Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carving, Khay Min Ga Temple and Tharaba Gate. And then, visit Dhamayangyi Temple, the biggest massive structure with the finest brickwork. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.
Day 10: Bagan - Kanpalat After breakfast, depart for Chauk along the river side for one hour. Cross Ayeyarwady River by bridge and continue to Kanpalat for 8 hours by jeep. In the evening, arrive at Kanpalat, one of the very beautiful and peaceful hill stations. Overnight stay at Chin Village Resort.
Day 11: Kanpalat - Mt. Victoria - Aye Village In the morning, proceed to 10 miles forest camp by jeep. And start to trek to summit of the Mt. Victoria < 10200' > for 4 hours. It will be a trek up into the evergreen forest. On the way, see rare butterflies and birds also Sitta Victoria white browned nuthatch, is found only in mountain forest of Mt, Victoria, the highest peak in Chin Hills. In the evening, proceed to Aye Village by jeep. Overnight at Aye village.
Day 12: Aye Village - Kyardo Village - Mindut Proceed to the forest combine with jeep rides up the mountain with trekking for 4 hours among the mountains. This is a strenuous day < approx 7 miles > as you trek down about 2500 feed crossing over a 100-foot suspension bridge and up hill about another 400 feet to Mindut. On the way, visit Kyardo Village. It is one of the amazing villages and there are many tattooed faced women. They are one of the Chin nation but they have different custom and believe system. In the evening, arrive at Mindut. Overnight stay at local guest house.
Day 13: Mindut A leisure day visiting and trekking around unique Chin settlement. Visit Pano Chin village and joy the Chin traditional dance. This is wonderful cultural dance that give you an opportunity to joy the locals. Overnight at Local Guest House.
Day 14: Mindut - Bagan After breakfast, drive through nugget road to Paungdaung and Pungnyar mountain range for 4 hours. This is very famous among archaeologist because of recent excavation findings with proof of people older than those found in the Middle East. Discovered were fragments of animals such as turtle, crocodile, rhinoceros and pig in stone layers. Also recorded have been fossilized remains of leaves thought to be about 34 to 50 million years old. In the evening, arrive at Bagan. Overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.
Day 15: Bagan - Yangon Breakfast at hotel, check-out from hotel and leave for morning flight to Yangon. Arrive at Yangon airport and take a rest at hotel. Visit Chauk Htatt Kyi (the six storied in meaning but actually the huge reclining Buddha Image, Sule (the eight sided stupa located at the center of Yangon, the Independent Monument. And study the ways of living of Yangon citizens (which can observe the tradition and modern costume) and Bogyoke Aung San Market, Scot Market. Overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.
Day 16: Yangon Departure After breakfast at hotel transfer to airport for your departure to conclude this unique experience.
